During August, the Rubicon Multi-Asset Pension Fund Survey shows a 2.0% return on average, with fund returns ranging from 3.2% to 1.2%. Over the first eight months of the year the funds surveyed have delivered an average gain of 15.0%. Over the past twelve months, the average return of the 16 funds surveyed is an impressive 23.2%. Returns for the past year ranged from 26.9% to 18.9%.

The average return has been strong, at 9.6% per annum, over the past three years. The five-year average return is a robust 8.7% per annum. Fund returns over the past ten years have been a very healthy 10.6% per annum on average.
